Paphos

Paphos has an vibrant mix of cultures and lifestyles combining history with modern pursuits such as Golf, scuba diving and much more, together this blends into, an elegance of the town and its classical style buildings, located in  the upper part of town which leads to the shopping area.

The lower part of the town - known as Kato Paphos has a life of its own from the vibrant night life to wonderful Tavernas through to the harbour, whose delightful open air fish restaurants line a quayside of fishing boats and pleasure craft.

Paphos is also home to the second International Airport and 2 International Golf courses with a further 3 courses planned , one of which has been designed by Tony Jacklin. Additionally a new International marina is planned to start in 2009

Paphos is renowned for its archaeological treasures, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. Located on the South-West coast of the island and sheltered from the north by the Troodos mountains, Paphos enjoys the healthiest year round climate in the Mediterranean.

The countryside changes with the seasons and is beautiful throughout the year, with fertile plains, citrus fruit plantations, rocky coves, sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
